  2. End of month update -

Friday night entertainment consists of rock n roll legends The Revolutionaires ably assisted by Peculiar Disco Moves who bring an interesting edge to proceedings.

This year we are starting the weekend on the Thursday night with a night we are calling The Thursday Night Quirk. We have four acts and a compere lined up and it promises to be just a little left of centre and off the wall[IMG]. There will be a degree of adult humour and it's not a place for young children. The cost of this madness is £5pp which includes camping......cheap as chips! This is a limited numbers event and to secure a place you first need to purchase weekend tickets and then contact me direct to book a place and make payment for Thursday.

Tickets can be bought from the website at www.volkspower.co.uk.

  3. As the countdown begins it is our real pleasure to confirm the music line up for 2013. Whilst we are a car show at heart we kinda like to have a good old stomp and boogie over the weekend. So, this year we will be kicking off with the Thursday Night Quirk which promises to push boundaries and offer music which is best described as……quirky!! Friday sees two sets from R n R extraordinaires The Revolutionaires with support from bluegrass maestros The Alice Charmers and musical vagabonds Peculiar Disco Moves. Saturday lunchtime brings Mark Simpson as Acoustic Weller with a set which is a genuine and quality tribute to The Modfather. Saturday afternoon will be wrapped up by the talent that is Carmella Roxx. Saturday night sees The Warning with their high energy set and The Stolen Stones will swagger like Jagger. Sunday brings Howlin’ Matt and a set of the blues, the perfect accompaniment to the Sunday car show. Oh, the weekend would not be complete without two sets from THE SKABEATS on Saturday night and the boys will be back to ensure we are not disappointed……….

All of this and petrol as well, winner!!

Pre book weekend tickets cheap as chips at £21pp with Saturday only available for £16. Thursday night can be booked after weekend tickets have been purchased.
