  3. Wylye way, just off the a303 near Salisbury. apparently its a bit of a mini good wood revival just without the racing. everyone gets dressed up, and there is clothes stalls, retro barbers etc. I only found out about it last week. the website is vintagenostalgiashow.co.uk

  4. Looks interesting.

  13. well, we enjoyed the show. greatly underestimated how many vw campers would be there and as such i wasn't aware of anyone from here.

great atmosphere, easy to get around and food good.

    what we liked:

    burlesque
    car show
    vintage stalls
    little waiting time for anything
    sausage and mash!

    not so keen on:
pizza van - went past about tea time friday and noted all pizzas were £7, came back an hour later to get one and they'd gone up to £8. however, they were nice.

and ..... DJs could have been using vinyl ...... this is of course nit picking ;)

    will go again next year.

  14. yep it was a great show, very very laid back and low key. great for just mooching around and having a beer in the sunshine

bit of a shame to classic camping field was sooooo dominated by VW's, would have been nice to see a bit more variety.

will definitely be there again next year.

will post some pics up at some point.

  15. be great to see some pics ....... and yes, loads of VWs ........ a couple of nice classic caravans though, and a really nice looking mk1 transit van. I thought it would have been nice to keep the classic camping just for classic campers or caravans, although i guess that might be tricky organisationally if people turned up in groups with mixed vehicles.
