FOR SALE Vango kela 2014 air beam awning

Discussion in 'Non Late Bay Classifieds' started by 67westy, May 12, 2016.

  1. For sale is our Vango Kela air beam awning. This is the 2014 model which we purchased at the start of 2015 and have used for 4 trips with a total of 10 nights. Selling as we are looking for a larger awning as we seem to take a lot more gear now we have a daughter  It is in excellent condition and is extremely easy to put up and take down. Comes with the footprint and inner tent. Would prefer collection due to size but can also look into courier options although it is quite heavy. Only minor issues are a very small tear in side door fly screen (pictured), one missing D ring and one valve cap has come away from it's retaining clip (this is only to keep hold of it when the valve is out).

Located in Lincoln £325 with the inner tent or £300 without.

REDUCED: £300 with inner tent or £275 without, will be chucking it on ebay soon!

I'll be heading from Lincoln to Gloucester at the start of June so may be able to drop off on the way

hi, what size is it, we want a new awning that's easy to put up but need something at least as big as the outwell country road.

  3. @rickyrooo1 It's really easy to put up, I did it tonight in 20 minutes and that involved a conversation with the neighbours and a daughter who wanted attention :) They quote 6 minutes on the instructions but I've not achieved that yet! Here's the sizes from the vango website:

Which I think is similar to the outwell country road. The 370 includes the tunnel between van and awning. Looking online the outwell says 340 wide by 240 deep without the tunnel so fairly similar.

  4. Found this image which makes it a bit clearer:

yes we saw @physiopro putting his up at techenders which made us think about changing, let me show lu and i'll let you know - she may want to go even bigger than the outwell although i'd imagine an airbeam one will cost a fortune if we do.

  6. Yeah we are going for a bigger air beam as they are so easy. The one we are looking at is £800 though! If it was just the two of us it would be ideal

i'm sure you'll sell easy eitherway as you say it's nice to have a decent size we have 2 dogs and want to take the grandkids so space is needed.

Not sure if it helps out in anyway with decision making for anyone but I travel from Lincoln to Peterborough at least once a week and wouldn't mind going a little bit further away for a cuppa :)

pretty much the same as yours colour wise, assuming that's yours in your profile, just a few years younger, do come to Lincoln in it every now and again.

Work in Lincoln and Peterborough but live in Newark :)

Ha! We have 2 one big for summer one small for winter, but both have seen better days now, hoping to replace at least 1 this year.
Whilst on this thread I'm after something bigger, looking at this it's a tad smaller than my outwell but too big/expensive to have as my 2nd crap weather awning good luck with the sale.

  20. Nah it's just a (very long) day visit for work. I reckon I'll only be there half an hour and it's a minimum 5 hour round trip! Unfortunately no way around it though
