V- Dub Island I.O.W 14th to 18th August 2014 (with extra camping 4 nights prior if required.

Just booked this one , dont know if anyone else is going ,few went last year, had a great time . They have extended camping this year, for those that want to go before from 10th to 14th for just an "extra" £20 per adult for the 4 "extra" nights ,which is not bad . If you book thru the ferry company Red Funnel you can get discounted ferry crossing from 10th -20th August which will cover you to stay on the island between these dates but vdubisland finishes and must be vacated by 5pm on mon 18th aug (Please note the Red Funnel site says Vdub island is from 14th to 19th but it should be 14th to 18th)

Please check all above yourselves!!! before booking!!! as it did confuse us too. (We've Booked 10th to 18th)

Guess it would be rude not too - seeing as its on our doorstep (literally). Looking forward to catching up with you again - don't ask what we will be in - I have no idea but we will be there one way or another!

A very cheap holiday on the Island for anyone that wants to see it - I wish we could get boat tickets that cheap!

It's also on the original 70's festival site so could be interesting!

 

I see its move locations, any reason? ( just out of interest)

great place for the kids bud they will love it and the boat ride ,thats a riot. and they are free

We are good thanks. Just really busy with house, work and mothers. A bit of sporadic lurking has gone on.

 

We're thinking about joining the fun on 'the island' and taking advantage of the discounted ferry tickets through Red Funnel and the extra few nights before the VW festival... Looks to be good value for a week's camping, 3-night Vdub festival and ferry crossing all in at £171.50.

Anyone else (other than those above) thinking of going?
