    Hi all,

We are, finally, moving off the mountain, down into the valley, 1,100m lower....

My pondering is... I'm going to use the bus to move stuff.

Haven't used it for this before, is it worth taking out the sink/cooker unit. (it's a westfalia)

  3. At least the kettle will boil quicker.

Is it a continental? Just two nuts behind the front seat and tilt forward so the plumbing lifts clear of the floor and it’s done.

Sorry to interrupt but the kettle will take longer to boil at lower altitudes because the atmospheric pressure is higher.

I wonder if Bjorn has done the Banana Box test on a Type II?

  10. Yes it’s not difficult to remove
Just remember to lie it down or stand it on some blocks because the pipe work sticks out the bottom
You will get loads in with it out the way .
Also if put the bed down you will be surprised how much you can get in. Good luck :)

    Thanks all.

To keep expense down... We'll use the bus.
    Take out the cooker/sink unit.
I've done it once... So second time should be even easier, right?

And there’s less oxygen so generally that equals less heat from your heat source.
