Now being the complete dimbo I am it needs to be easy to use and safe. I want to convert youtube playlists to cd eventually ( you know all those crap songs I like making you lot listen to). Waddyagot.
Most we state they don't do YouTube as YouTube are very protective of their vids and do take action. I used to use a firefox browser plug in but think that's been disabled now
The crap way of course is to connect line out on one PC playing music to line in on another PC and record the audio in an editing package. Use something like the sound editing package Audacity to edit the adverts out then export to MP3.
It's crap because you convert digital to analogue, the the analogue back to digital and loose something along the way. If you could simply pinch the digital you'd be laughing, which is why it's been made so difficult. Plug your cassette recorder into the earphones socket should work for you Nick.
Thats more like it. I have done that before but the mp3 then burn to cd (get me) option seemed quicker , I tried the converter and got some ***** telling me how to become a millionaire, I dont want to be a bleeding millionaire i just want to get some tunes down for a party.
I do have a cassette to mp 3 converter you can borrow if you want Beat. I used if for any old cassettes I had remaining around.

Ive used a converter to get YouTube vids to mp3, works fine. Only problem is you can only do one at a time. Well, I can.
