Uprated suspension

  1. Hello folks. I'm uprating my bus's power from the stock 70bhp to just over 160. I'll need to uprate the suspension. But I want the bus to remain riding at the stock height - I don't want it lowered. I just want it stiffened but not to the extent that the ride becomes anywhere near uncomfortable. Can anyone direct me to the suspension I should be looking for please.

  2. Thanks mate. I thought / was hoping I'd get a reply from you. You're the man who knows!

  5. Shoot me down in flames if you like. But I'm going Subaru. Either the 140bhp 2 litre flat 4 or the 165bhp 2.5 litre flat 4. Went for a spin in a Splitty with the 2 litre and thought I'd need a little extra umph considering my Bay's a bit heavier. So it's likely to be the 2.5. This is the sort of conversion I thought of doing myself, but because of the complexity have decided to get these guys to do it http://fellowsspeedshop.tumblr.com/

  6. well if you want to keep it stock height. how about a stronger anti roll bar. and maybe beetel rear spring over shocks...on the front.
im sure i've seen somewhere you can used these to stiffen your ride...on your bus that is, :)
