  3. Thank you to all of those who have emailed me the Bosch manuals, I will sit down and go through them at some point. So someone suggested getting rid of the accu spark dizzy and going with a a standard which I, also changed the leads as well for better quality ones.

There is no difference, this time it will rev nicely but if you try and hold revs say about 2.5k or 3k it quickly looses power and begins to cough, this can be cleared by revving again

It's also started making what only can be described as a farting noise or gurgle when it stops running, almost like the injectors and leaking fuel

If anyone has anymore suggestions before I start on the Bosch books please let me know.

Just to add I checked the timing by un screwing the metal temp sensor, this allows it to idle but very rich.

  5. Have you checked the flow rate on the injectors that you have fitted. It sounds like they will run with the assistance of the fifth injector or in a acceleration situation - both overfuel situations. Is the ecu expecting a higher flow rate therefore starving the engine in a idle situation ?

  6. Similar issue on my MS set up and it turned out to be the MAP sensor it should read 100 Kpa. But mine was 260 kpa. And it was overfueling to compensate

  7. I have a 411le variant with FI. I have a accuspark module instead of points. The original distributor has trigger point in it. This fires the injectors at the correct time. For my car, if the original distributor isn't there with the trigger point. It will not run properly. Just a thought.

  8. Hello,

    Re- the gurgling noise.
Have you checked for abnormal fuel tank pressure or vacuum.
Are all the vent lines clear
Is the fuel returning normally to the tank.

Apologies if this was covered earlier

  9. So I figured it out and now it runs great, after literally changing everything again, can anyone guess, it was a new one to me and one to note for others

  10. engine rotation wrong ?

  11. Oil breather box on top of the engine. I swapped it out and now runs great!

Must be affecting the inlet pressure and causing over fueling

  12. Oh I was just going to say that ! :)

  13. I changed it just on a whim, I had checked everything with volt meter / fuel pressure etc

I now consider myself a Type 4 fuel injection expert lol

  14. Check that hose like i mentioned in previous post . Im sure it has cracks and it will run better with a new one . You can get pvc tubing , they are impossible to get the original new (a guy in Canada has them ), so dont try ...im not sure the Crankcase breather (not oil bath) can get clogged ,.?

  15. Glad you have solved it, worth remembering and I'am now glad I bought a good one as a spare last year!

  16. weird one that, not that oi would have gone for that being the fault but the one from a porsche 912 is different i think and can cause problems. (not that you necessarily have a 912 on there but you now what i mean.)

  17. If anyone needs any fuel injection parts please let me know as I now have tons of bits lol :p
