I know the majority of shows are in the south but if any of you fancy a trip 'oop norf' then on the 28 July at Tynemouth (a nationally famous surfing venue) there is the second Tynemouth Classic VW Rally I'm helping organise the event and the first 100 registered vehicles get a lovely goody bag. It's completely free to register and attend as it is to come and visit as a lover of all things VW! If it's aircooled it's in, so far most have been pre-'75 Buses, Beetles and Ghias. Over 4000 people came last year! There'll be Best Bus and Best Beetle competitions voted on by the public and more to come as we get things organised!
