A couple of weeks ago, whilst at M&D's we were talking about late night snacks. Matt suggested I tried his favourite of hot toast, with butter applied. Wait until the butter has melted and soaked into the toast, then dizzle with vinegar... My initial thought was......... NO... But I plucked up enough courage tonight, and believe me.. It's marvelous.... Try it if you dare !!
Hmm not sure about that one.. but I love sticking salty popcorn in my mouth with as much chocolate as I can fit and chew them all up together.. tis heaven!! try that!!
really?? vinegar toast.. but doesnt it go all soggy??? thats the bit thats putting me off as I have this habit (weird apparently) of once the toast has popped up I prop it up together like a steeple to cool down.. then I put butter and bovril on it and BINGO cripsy toast.. mmmmmm but soggy toast is not ma thing!!
I went through a stage many years ago where i used to toast 2 slices of bread under the grill on just one side. I would then butter the untoasted side and then slap some tommy k on one slice and brown sauce on the other piece. Yummy
