He’s probably done a lot of dodgy stuff that would see him put in jail if he doesn’t destroy what he can or do a deal. Having a mob run amok in the white house could have been very handy re destroyed stuff and lost evidence, fortunately it was stopped. His angle is property and land ownership and lots of it, the conservative angle is money ownership and lots of it = power.
