Mountain Rescue & Ski Patrol @Razzyh

 

Need an apprentice some fantastic pics there

 

I did volunteer work as a ski patroller for many years before this season, now I'm full time (6 days a week, 12 hour shifts). It also helps that I'd done similar work in North America & spent years as a SES volunteer down the coast. It's easier to get a ski instructors job than to get onto the full time rescue team.

 

Great pics, you're a lucky guy! Remind me of a good Aussie film called somersault.

No it's the Sabbath! You'll be getting lines as well soon

 

Makes no difference what day it is as (Rev)Mrs TW is A priest so always say if she use to work on a sunday why shouldn't I.

 

But she's been chosen to represent her boss on Sundays, and you'll be tempting thunderbolts, take that advice, put your feet up and raise a glass or two to mrs TW's boss, you know it makes sense!

& before the weather closes in again this evening

& as we leave for the day down comes the snow again

but wheres the winter camp peeps

 

I offered some Aussie VW types the chance for a winter camp. Shall we say the response was less than enthusiastic

People forget the sheer size of the place, skiers from Sydney spend 5 - 6 hours on the road on a Friday to get down here in winter & then do the return trip on the Sunday.
