Upcycling is a growing trend that’s still under the radar for some. Simply, it’s all about taking old objects and furniture, and adding your own creativity and craft to make it something new, unique and beautiful. Upcycling Day is all about celebrating the art of upcycling. However, with that art also comes the focus on sustainable use of household goods, recycling items instead of being wasteful, and the many different ways we can reuse things that we might think are completely useless at first glance. @Razzyh - ahead of the game
In my house it's called, " I'm skint, what can I use to make things with " none of your fancy modern phrases, repurposing, upcycling PAH. I'm to straighten some rusty nails and put them on ebay
I’ve upcycled ( flogged junk because the tip was closed ) £750’s worth of very useful ( junk ) goods on Facebook during the lockdown. It’s amazing how much work a furloughed wife can find for you. I’ve cleaned out the summerhouse, shed and beneath the garage, and decorated the hall stairs landing and the front room. I’m the one who has worked full time through this lockdown too
