Over the last 50 years, the world has really undergone so much in the way of change, and as soon as the 21st century took over, technology started to play a huge role in separating the human race. With the sudden introduction of social media came the internet troll, and with this came harsh words behind the mask of anonymousness. While it seems the case that trolling and being unkind is becoming more and more popular, what we really need is a reason to be nice to one another. With the introduction to Say Something Nice Day on an international level, who knows what could be achieved, the truth is, the benefits are endless. So, next time you think of saying something nasty, remember, it’s far less effort to say something nice. We could do worse than follow this advice.
