Today is Bank Holiday Monday

What’s everybody up to today? I’m up early because the Sky engineer is due early.
Anybody heading to the coastal crowds?

 

I'll be having another stab at getting my bus to run properly before I start looking for a convenient cliff to park it next to.

 

Wembley today for me and my boys to watch the mighty Newport County win promotion to League 1 for the first time in nearly 40 years.

It's surreal that our first game of the season is a play-off final at Wembley....

 

Off to Shaftesbury for the morning I think.

Potting up hanging baskets and pots

 

Quiet day sunbathing in the garden at home- I have seen photos of the crowds heading to Southport - definitely not for me.

 

Getting ready for a visit, beers chilling in the fridge and mending a parasol stand which has been rusting in the shed since Noah was a lad.

 

Bassets cove car park in Cornwall is a good one for that ...Back in the mid 80's there was a selection of motors crunched up at the bottom

 

Just back from some friends at Linslade ...won't be going out into the Peak District today , to many tourists blocking the roads and pouring litter out into hedgerows and hurling there foil barbaques into the river dove ....not being able to negotiate small width roads in there over sized 4x4's .

Once had a hold up about a 1/2 a mile long because 3 family's in line didn't realise you could cross over a cattle grid .

So it's a beer on the patio today and listen to the ambulance nee naas going to all sorts of unfortunate incidences .

 

Resting at home. The A303 and M27 is going to be murder tonight.

 

Did it jump up to be higher than the bumper? I don't see how you managed it! I reckon you just noticed that crack, it looks old to me.
