    My fav place to walk is the lakes... 8)

    i have done Snowden and some of the Welsh peaks but no others , had lunch halfway up Ben Nevis cos you can get to the cafe in a cable car .

    The thing to do is to sound people out re date's , sites preferred etc , like what zed is doing , i say do it because it is a good way to meet other tlb members :)

    Trouble (for me) with these TLB things is they're always miles away oop north or on the south coast or somerset or summut. How about a walk round the industrial wastes of the midlands? No?

    oi -- The Midlands has no industry or industrial waste any more , they have built a Tesco's or Morrisons on all the wasteland !

    That said Hinkley is very nice walking country ;)
