made it from sussex to matlock(miners) last night.Now at edale but have slight fuel leak.Should be ok(have firetech if comes to worst)..Can anyone have alook at carb whilst at Malham plaese.In AA if worst comes to worst(though will save fuel on way home).See you all soon.

Well it would seem i over filled the van today with fuel, so not happy was dripping out of the van, so took it for a drive see if use some and stop it, parked him up on backs with a tray under him check him in the morning think also its dripped on the clutch coz thats being a arse since in revers. So unsure now,

 

they ve still got petrol up in donnie then

 

It happened to us Dinky, when we first got the van. Filled her up at the first petrol station, took 3 weeks to lose the smell. Only ever put £25 in her now.

Suppose we should put more in now though, £25 only gets us to the next petrol station.

 

Hah same here - we never fill up more than £30.

Hope you get sorted Dinks....we need you there at the weekend hun!

I lost track a bit of who is coming this weekend and who isn't so I just told Malcolm there'd be about 30 units and 60 adults etc. It'll be a nice surprise for us all to see who turns up.

Malcolm's voicemail says he's not taking anymore bookings for that weekend so it does look like we've got it to ourselves apart from the DofE kids. I missed a call from him earlier so no update on cost or which gate to use but will try him again tomorrow.

 

I know someone who camped there last year on a DofE award trip. Said what a nice quiet campsite it was.............
