does everyone run with earphones in? what song makes you really pick up the pace no matter what stage of the run you are at? anything AC/DC for me!!
just signed up for the Bodmin Half Marathon in aid of the fire and rescue service, this will be my first proper race with someone i know running too, so its more of a challange as I have to beat him!!! best start training................ :-
i dont really know the route, ive only ever drove over bodmin and its one mighty hill, there are plenty of hills around for me to practice on, i even made my own half marathon route around where i work and one around where i live im sad like that, wish i had the balls to try a full marathon but dont want to fail :-[ but ive never ran more than the 13.1
been out this evening and what a lovely evening too 8) building up nicely it getting easier and i'm getting faster and my trackies are loser now
Just entered the Great Manchester 10k which is in May. Hopefully help with the motivation. My son wants me to run with him, but he's 27 so we may start together :-[
here is the app i use for my runs its Nike + GPS i find it really good and i have used mapmyrun and runkeeper but have found Nike + GPS to be the one for me this is called the triangle its the most common run where i am (work)
Well the running hasn't been brilliant so far. So this this week I have no excuse. There are no late nights at work so I'm promising to run a minimum of 3 times this week. I've just been, so one down. Can someone tell me off if I haven't been twice more by saturday please?
