Time to improve the van

I'm going to make the van a little nicer on the eye.

I need some new doors, and maybe a bumper.

Just bought some new seats and cushions

I'm looking on ebay but are there any other other web sites I need to look at?

There were a few almost reasonable bumpers at Sandown, apart from brand new, and a door that had been well eaten by tinworm..

 

I don't like spending money, so I want to spend as little as possible.

I think I just need doors and bumpers, a bit of welding and a lining for the pop top.

However this stuff is how long a piece of string.

 

The going rate for slighly rust speckled bumpers seemed to be £40.

But doors.. either weld up or cough up big money for good ones.

 

I have some doors, possibly a pair of bumpers too, what’s wrong with your bumpers ?

 

What's it look like underneath ? New sills are a good investment...

I go underneath every year, or so and seal it. So I think it's OK.

The bottom six inches of the sliding door is rotten so that needs replacing

The headliner needs replacing, but I don't want to replace it for like for like so I'm looking at ideas on the Internet

 

Carpet it instead.

Edit: the roof I mean. The bottom six inches of the sliding door would look rubbish carpeted....

 

But more impressive to the MOT man than new cushions...

 

How much are sills and what do they do?
