I agree, it's all about the camping. I think when we had the T5, it just gave us more options for camping ie, we could travel further afield at the drop of a hat. Get there quicker, in greater comfort (yeah, I know it's all about the journey isn't it? ;)) Re alloys, have to admit I was going to ask @rickyrooo1 if you fancied swapping our alloys for your steels at last TE but I seem to remember you were content with steels....academic now obviously.

standard 16 inch vw wheels i mean like robo's - not sure if the bumpers will wrap to be fair - will it adhere to plastic with all those shapes?

Yes, long as they aren't swathed in silicone shine....

  5. If your on Facebook then this guy who's local to me brings em over from Ireland! Mostly T4's but occasionally T5's and they're very reasonably priced & usually sold before he fetches em!

  13. Been out on the drive having a sort out of what we need to carry for a spontaneous one nighter to keep inside Alfie & left the mountain of other stuff in the garage for those organised / arranged adventures

Had a practise swivel of the front seats and at setting up the main bed, to be honest I was struggling to get the triple seat to move along the rail but then found a sticker on the back that revealed that I have to fold the seat forwards then pull the lever

Here's a few more internal shots although not much to see really

  16. Apparently there isn't one in the beach, it has a beefy starter battery & alternator setup with some kind of system that shuts all the interior electrics down before your battery goes flat thus enabling you to start the engine! It can recharge with just the engine on tick over

It's all new to me & he could of been telling me porkies & I can only find details of the new T6 beach spec online!
