  1. Concertina / sliding ducts?

I used a concertina type – I wandered around a scrap yard looking at door jams until I found one that was suitable. Unfortunately, I can’t remember what car they were from.

I assumed you meant the cab doors. I have this for the door speaker, central locking and electric window cables.

And this for the slider - when I get around to getting the cables down the B pillar and fitting the central locking motor in the door.

  6. Can you remember what they came off? Just got cables through the slots on mine, with Superseal connectors so you can tske the doors off.

All well and good but have you ever seen the mess the slider makes of the steel parts of the lock mechanisms when they miss. If your slider is perfectly set up then the electrical contacts may survive.

  9. That's very neat. I didn't want to take my doors off, so couldn't drill big holes in the doorframe. I managed to squeeze umpteen thin-wall cables through an existing speaker lead hole.

  14. Me too , just a couple of speaker wires but they're just waving around at the moment...

  15. I’ve got eight of the beggars. Prob is drilling into the doorframe - need the cab doors off, which I’m reluctant to do.

No cables in my doors. ::thumbsup:

Isn't the front edge of a cab door comprised mainly of holes as seen here?

  19. It’s the hole in the doorframe that’s the problem...
