  1. top, top work there Zed. The paint jobs look fantastic!

  2. so can anyone update me on what is going on ,I seem to have captured snippets in other posts...

Zed has sold his bus ,house, car ,finished work and shaved his head ,he is going to sell the devon and purchase a one way ticket to Tibet where he is going to joint the priest-hood...

    Is that about right?

Doors now L90D white inside. Now this does indeed make it look a bit quick and easy, but previously I've laboured long and hard on these doors/bumpers/poptop to get them ready for paint, then dusted them over with primer where appropriate and stashed them for several years. ;)
The doors now just need flatting back and painting green.

Hands up, I didn't personally paint the first 2.*

EDIT: What a knob - I painted the blue one, just not the yellow one.

Today I finally waved off the early. :( and :)
My temp wheels - a Honda Accord auto in pukey bronze lent by a friend while I get the Devon done.

Then I cleaned up and painted the pre-prepped dash top and the crescent shaped air outlet covers black and called it a day. It's been a hard week, I'm going to have an afternoon nap. :)

    Hardly surprising.

Painting things laid flat is great in respect to runs and sags, but the downside is more chance of poo landing on it.

Your place looks like a hospital theatre compared to mine, I'll be painting similar on Sunday and praying it's not breezy :(

Nope, this is the one I'm copying :D it's VW Velvet green. I painted @dean_butler 's bus the same colour 4 years ago and have always really liked it. Same roof too. :)

  19. Nice job on the panels, they look super straight. Like the colour too. I also had a few bits in the panels that I painted laid flat, but thay flatted out OK.
