Thinking of selling want advice first.

  1. Most certainly a panel van conversion same as mine. What does the registration paper identify it as? Prices will vary so much as you know. Just depends what a perspective buyer want to pay which will always be less than what you seek and value it at. I paid £4000 for a total year long shipyard job:( I knew it needed some work however it really did hide a nightmare of work, well and truly scammed . Get yourself a Vauxhall Victor FB.

  2. Looking at the pics and the recent Mot history given, I would guess 5k to 6k.

Be realistic, there are lots of far better ones out there for under 1ok.

Are you optimistic it will pass an mot.

  3. If The second number on chassis number is a 1 then it's a panel van

  7. the problem with this thread is he is saying he is thinking of selling and wants advice first, but so far we only have two pics and a detailed recent mot history to form an opinion and comment.

whatever we think or say about an asking price, at the end of the day it depends on who is willing to buy it and how much they are prepared to pay for it.

it seems to me that bay prices are holding firm for the good ones and the bargain basement rust buckets for restoration, its the ones in between which are harder to price, but some good ones have sold on ebay for only 7k to 9k, which is disappointing.

  8. He'd have gotten away with it if it wasn't for you pesky kids.

Westfalia made all their campers from combi's That is a panel van conversion. I would check chassis and id stamp in engine bay while you're digging around for the M plate!

  10. So that being the case would you have any come back on eBay cos that listing clearly says it's a westy. ?

But it actually appears to just be parts of a westy

  18. Not having a go at him. Far from it. Felt a bit sorry for him if he's been turned over.

It's why I hang around here with you reprobates. So when I stuff a fist full of cash into someone's hand it doesn't happen to me

    Hopefully

Just wondered what my van is worth,
Bad bits- It starts when it wants to, leaks oil like F, the doors all have different keys and most don't open ( unless you swear at it), one of the speakers isn't working, the headlining is coming down, the front carpets smell of cats *******, there's rotten carp boilies in the fridge oh and I've left a turd in the porta potty for 3 months, and don't get me started on the rust

Good bits- There's a blue is the colour cd in the stereo, sang by the 1972 cup final squad, there's a bag of grass in the glove box, ive fitted led lights in the engine bay so you can see when it breaks down, and there's a pile of girlie mags under the rock and roll bed,
It Passed the MOT with one advisory, which was sell the Marmite heap
    I was thinking £12-£15000
