Great news Bazza, if they've worked down to your age group already I should get mine by around September then
Our daughter felt fine after the first one but rough the day after her second, MrsNtfc has had her first and was fine
As they say - about 20% of people react to the vaccine if their immune system has not encountered COVID, about 30% of people who have encountered COVID have a reaction.
The general feeling seems to be if you have the Pfizer jab, injection one is no problem, but you feel rough with the second; the Oxford / Astra Zenicker (?spelling!) makes you feel pretty lousy with jab number one: taking 2 paracetamol a couple of hours beforehand seems to help, and throughout the following day. Just what I’ve heard from friends, customers and colleagues who have had their vaccines so far.
If after my vaccination I suffer any side affects the southern half of me will adopt a stiff upper lip and get on with it, the Yorkshire half of me will moan and whinge
Do you know why there are no Asprins in the jungle? Because parrots....... Don't worry the coat is on
Pfizer jab for me, no side effects, but it's handy to blame every little ache on, instead of admitting to them being age related......3 weeks on, still need a sit down and a cuppa mid afternoon.
Oh no Still, as me old mum used to say, “if it tastes horrible, it’s probably doing you some good”. In fairness though, she also used to say that if I got a little spot on my tongue (you know the ones, painful little buggers) it meant I’d been telling lies; and that if I swallowed my chewing gum, it would wrap around my guts and strangle me from inside. So she is not entirely to be trusted!
