Theresa May loses televised debate shocker

  1. It's fantasy politics from labour. They can say anything they like in their manifesto. Free ice cream for all lesbians, anything it doesn't matter as they know they ain't got a cat in hells chance of getting in. So they won't ever be held accountable for it.

I say judge people on their record and labours record the last time was ******* poor.

I don't really like all the Tory stuff either. The social care policy was a fecking shambles. The national insurance raise for self employed was a mess as well. But I still think they are safer on the economy and without that you ain't got Marmite.

  3. she looked really uncomfrotable to me needed shakin gup a bit more.....stock answers and crap body language. if u were in the street no food no job and no where to live and asked her fpr some grub answer would be we need a strong stable governemnt and we cannot afford to feed you until we can aford it. NICE

  4. I thought it went the other way, I thought May was a lot more assured than Corbyn and came across a lot better.

I dont trust Corbyn (I dont trust the Tories either I should add), but along with the awful Diane Abbot - it seems to be amateur time everytime I have seen her interviewed, I do not think there is anyway labour party can deliver their manifesto and are simply not up to the task of running the country, I hope they get hammered at the polls next week so they can sort themselves out, rebuild and come back as a stronger opposition with a more centre left stance.

Paxman's interview style is awful though and ruined it.

  7. Agreed. Swing vote will take it though & this time Labour won lot of votes! I worry they are handing over power so they don't have to deal with brexit..... bad body language, stock answers & even wearing labour colours!

  8. Until a large number of those who can afford it take their skills abroad, at which time the tax liabilities (after all the bills will still need to be paid) will roll down hill onto the lower earners.

  9. like the tory manifesto but then again that is more of a pamphlet

  10. well i liked my history teacher AT school he looke dlike corbin looks like mi uncle too but may looked like my school headmistres and uptight and dressed the same and lived in the nice areas ....where we went for a day trip ont bus.lol

  12. The lower earners are footing the bill now, but it isn't being invested in the future of the country. We don't mind paying tax if everyone benefits but under any tory administration past, present & future that will never happen because they beleive the few are entitled to have it, so they just take it!
They are nothing but thieves & liars as my pocket testifies!

That's not fair! I don't even flipping like ice cream

I'd say judge the party on how they are currently doing. I think when Theresa May makes all the claims that s Tory govt would do this, that and the other, she forgets that they are actually in power but haven't done them so far!

  14. Number 2 in the charts banned on many radio stations including the biased BBC ....... sure to be a hit.

  15. Can you remember anything she said if so what?

  16. There seems to be too many people wearing rose colour glasses , because frankly at this moment in time Mrs May is as good as they get. Why do we get sucked into this Americanised charade of a televised debate

  17. Agreed! We as a nation are still in tory imposed austerity measures with cuts ahoy. Why should anything be different in the future under them? It won't be, it wasn't under thatcher, major, cameron & certainly not that difficult (I can't say what I wan't to say) .....

  18. Yeah, no deal is better than a bad deal, and she tried to explain her way out of the dementia tax fiasco!

  19. I think you are in the minority, check twitter & social media it is going mad with support for corbyn & his "performance"

  20. IMO social media has a massive left wing bias. I have friends both left and right politically but only the far lefties tend to post political posts.
