Did you find an efficient solution to remove the old glue? My van had been carpeted at some point ( ) and I have not been able to get rid of all the glue.
Looks good! What line if business are you in then? I can't make it out from the sign writing. Are you in London? If so I will kerp my eyes peeled and give you a wave. I'm in North London.
Talcum powder to enable you to move about without sticking then white spirit of gun cleaner thinners.
White spirit did not touch mine - I have been removing a lot with a wire brush on a drill - but it is taking ages! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If it's contact adhesive you & @agaric could try toluene. It's available from e-bay BUT is a proper nasty solvent & must be treated with care. Another method that may work is to freeze the glue & then chip it off.
White spirit alone didn't helped much. White spirit on glue heated with heat gun was okay. But obviously not a very smart solution. I gave up for know. It's hidden by the cab mats anyway. So only the OCD side of me is upset, and since it's weaker than the lazy me... But will keep that in mind (especially the freezing method which sounds fun to test) for when I'll decide to do my cab all over again.
