Has anyone else been watching this on TV? About 1970s the tourist deaths in Thailand. Got the last one to watch this evening, be interested to read bit more about this once I have finished watching the programmes.
Yep.... working through it. Literally just finished watching episode 4. To say I’m stressed and anxious would be an understatement. It’s very good!
We have episode 6 lined up for later, something different to watch & its enjoyable too! Next week, for us, The Pembrokeshire Murders starts.
edge of the seat stuff ... horrific ... I'm not quite old enough to have gone to Thailand in the 70s, went at the end of the 80s fortunately I didn't get invited to any such parties.
Watched the first one a couple of days ago . Looking forward to the rest of the series. It is a bit anxiety inducing in what are anxious times anyway. Jolly good- and it’s got that fit bird on it too.
I must be the only one that found it boring and slow.....I nearly fell asleep watching it.im going to take up knitting or something g like thAt
I thought the same after the first couple of episodes but stick with it. It gets better and draws you in. Just got the final episode to watch tonight.
Gave up on it cos there was too much then-and-now time flitting. Washing the dishes was more stimulating!
Thought it was very good but all that going back and forth in time did my swede in ....don't think it was totally necessary
If you can get hold of it the book is well worth reading, Shadow of the Cobra. A friend lent me a copy in the early 90s, always thought it would be made into a film at some point.
Just finished watching the first one now and not sure where I am. All very flashy next episode might reorientate Liked the Aussie envoy..
