VERY scary being that close when you're being towed!

 

Yeah me to. I'll take the rocker covers off in a bit and hope I see something broken inside.

 

Accelerator cable snapped around 2 miles from home on Sunday.Conduit seems to be corroded so couldn't feed the new one through.Got towed home.Your thoughts were exactly the same as mine.Bit too close for comfort being towed !!!!!

 

Yes, it makes you pay attention doesn't it.
Not sure how you'd get over the corrosion, maybe one of those thinks electricians use to feed cables through small gaps?

 

I know the first 1/2 mile was like a scary fairground ride.I was glad when we got to a 30 zone,RAC death ride !!!!!

I am hoping to have a proper look tomorrow.If it is really bad I think I will piggy back a replacement tube alongside for now.

Ironic is it not that one of the people I was picking stuff up from was @WoodyLubber , nearly made it to @sANDYbAY , just 5 minutes away , I WILL get those seats one day !. What happened I hear you ask ' the gear linkage' went wonky ! Now also before any certain Mr Sandybay go asking any admin to change my name it was very nice to meet you, and we are looking forward to driving up soon and breaking down closer!
