Just heard from someone that worked on it before I bought it that my tank has no breather pipe on it at the mo.
Is the tank in the same position on a Doka as a single cab, if so the tank vents out to the louvres in the side panel not the engine
Yes they are. Singles have the panel at the back side of the locker compartment and Crew cabs its under the rear seat at the back of that space you find the tank panel. Easier than dropping the engine.
The pickups don't have the rear corner vents like a bus so can't have the rising expansion bulbs in the breather line, the breathers just come off the top of the tank to a T then out to the louvres in the side panel. Don't pipe them into the air filters because of the slight risk of the tank overflowing through them
Not the best pic but you can just see the two plastic breathers joining a T then a metal pipe that S's around the roof and out to the side louvres
I have been told that that black hose coming out of the top of the tank should be attached the that little tube on the edge of the filler pipe. what you lot think? does the rest of it look complete?
