I actually got dressed today though so not all bad news.

 

Balsam tissues are the only way. Loo roll is like sandpaper after a bit.

The family insist I do that before I leave the house.

Still feeling pretty rough but made it into work today. Didn't bust a gut I must admit but regretting going in now How you getting on @art b & @Kkkaty ?

 

i still have a head cold with an occasional throaty cough,
its all ok until i try to move,

just about getting some sleep at night,
went back to bed at 2pm today

tbh , ive been imobilised for 6 days
done a 2 mile walk yesterday and a 20 min bike ride on friday...

 

there was mention on the radio ,
of worldwide infections this year

 

Well I was doing fine yesterday. Then as you say a night from hell and today just coughed and coughed and... you get the idea.
So stayed home AGAIN! Can't see tomorrow being any better. So f***. It, it's the GP for me tomorrow. Last time I flaked off work for this long was for childbirth!
Respec' to you two for making it in to work and managing some exercise.
Now, another night looms. Groan.

Problem: getting colds at winter time due to pussy immune system
Solution : drive bay all winter to toughen up immune system.

 

I may be a bit premature..

but I started drinking hot soups ..
cup a soups every other hour
and it does seem clear the cold effects

along with a bit of exertion ..
things seem to be easing..

Still feeling like warmed up poo. I have the pleasure of my sinuses maintaining 65psi today. A good blow of the hooter yields no reward and my head could explode at any given moment. I did half a shift today and ,yet again, regretting now. If you sat on the board at a big pharmaceutical company you'd be laughing all the way to the bank right now.
