Would they run you out of town for it? Yikes!
Must say, I do like the This Is England film and series.... tough to watch at times, but it ticks the boxes for me.

  3. this morning i woke up all bright eyed and bushy tailed but by lunch was not very happy; the bus, people being let downs, rain, cold... bah

i used music through the day to try to lift my spirits back up and now i can't even remember why i needed it.
thank you to you lovely lot, you've made me smile and laugh tonight, both on here and in messages. t'is a lovely thing indeed x

  7. it's one of those things i wanted to like but just didn't. i think the first one i saw was room for romeo brass and i can't get on with the echoey, home video acoustics. it felt bit too forced and trying to copy loach... dunno, it's weird how some things you think you'll like and then find you don't.

The 70s Fu***in rocked, when you look back and consider we really had sod all except damp and steel framed windows.. I look back and LOVED EVERY SINGLE MINUTE OF MY LIFE THROUGH THAT ERA...

We got our school clothes for christmas and I truly believed that apples oranges and bananas only grew in time for christmas sock fillers.. Chip pan fat lasted forever, and one pair of shoes was all you really needed..

In fairness, I didn't get much from 'A Room for Romeo Brass' either.... it was a bit summit and nuffink. A director finding his feet I guess.

Your just a nipper, it all works out when you reach 50... its the time of enlightenment .. forget the world problems, there not your problems, and the way Marmite works were powerless to make any difference so might as well grow old disgracefully .. reliving yer youth but with some spare cash and quiet attitude ;)
