I'll have another look but the casting's got a double break and I think it's beyond that unfortunately.

 

So today I have starting repairing and refurbishing the rear bench seat.

Both brackets that brace the seat base front to back were broken



And there are 4 broken springs



The cross braces are now welded up and the seat is rectangular again (instead of the front bulging out slightly - worsening with some weight on it)

I’ve got an idea to repair the springs but I’m waiting on a kit from an upholsterers to arrive.

I’ve got some left over spring covering material from when I did the the front seats but a new horsehair pad will also be fitted once the springs are done.

I do recognise that shade of green on that make of engine, must be his trademark

 

Just doing the same to my drivers seat.

Moved my interior light wiring onto my chunky new leisure battery.

Ruminated on how attach IKEA LED wand light to headbanger cupboard.

They are Brazzer seats- a fabric/vynil type mix - there's a bloke down Brizzle way selling several, incuding the twin passenger ones - possibly the left overs from Danbury closing down.

Still want to do something about the few rust patches inside (no holes), just not sure what. Maybe just Bilt Hamber and leave it at that.

Downlighters..

1.8 watt x 6 ..these are actually quite bright..

 

Far too many too powerful downlighters, more than 2 of these on and you need sunglasses. I can switch them individually luckily.
