I was going suggest looking for grenades. Odd that there’s no propellant or bullet, but the primer’s intact.

 

I thought so too it seems to have been chambered there are some weird scratch marks on the body, maybe it was detonated electronically some weapon system are but mostly in heavy armour

I have window envy.
My glass is now trapped in no man’s.
Is that just a regular non-slip pad you have used? I need to grip and adhere the glass better with something.

 

Mine did the same last summer....it dried out and would not grip...
I took it apart , cleaned up the rubber and the metal strip and put it all back together with a bit of hot glue and it's all fine

 

They match Mark’s underwear, apparently...

I used a piece of sleeping bag mat. It’s thicker than the standard bit of rubber that was in there, so it grips a bit tighter. My door was fitted with new scrapers, so it’s a tight fit, anyway.

 

Maybe it misfired and somebody removed the bullet and the propellant to make it "safe", then realised it still had the detonator cap in it so they hid it.

You ought to post it on thesamba.com , they have a thread for weird stuff found in camper vans... all the way from the expected hemp products to wads of cash ( proceeds ? ) and bullet holes..
