  1. Very useful in a whole load of situations. I have my reverse lights wired into the leisure battery for this reason. But i had ti implement something better. I'm super impressed.

  2. Finally wrestled Ebers wiring up behind dash, kick panels on, floormat down. I never want to see it again.

Checked supply, attempted a quick turn-on of heater for some kind of whirring. Nothing. Realised that with no pump connected, the Ebers doesn't bother getting out of bed. Too clever for its own good.

  4. I like your thinking. My rear heated window doesn't work properly, too many broken filaments. I really don't want to loose all the sticker history on the window and, the as I rarely have a need for the heater I could use the same circuit to drive some LED modules:thinking:.

Can't believe I got post on Easter Sunday!!
Happy though, it means I can finish the last bit of the solar install - The Voltage Sensitive Relay. I'm so glad I had to tidy up the electrics last year after the little fire so I can see where the wires come and go from. But it's still taxing my brain [IMG]

I think that counts as un taxing. Battery big fuse, fat wire, VSR, fat wire big fuse battery.

I hate my welder .. it shorted out spectacularly when the Euro socket came loose and spun, connecting the welder tip to mains earth. Tripped the main RCD
And I was greeted with a smoking mains cable, somehow I had swapped the welder mains lead with a crappy hookup to not really 13A more like 6A plug lead...

    Inside the plug..

The mess I had to hide...

    20200412_101642.jpg

And the cover up . Until I buy a set of panels for the lower front of the bus..

    20200412_145829.jpg

The welder would turn on, cut out and turn on repeatedly, then eventually it would behave.

And the gas solenoid wont pull in on setting 1, 2 and 3.

Maybe time to buy a welder that doesnt take as long to fix as it takes to mess up the welds with its erratic behaviour. And the wire reel holder has snapped. Its plastic with a big bolt through it..

Tomorrow : creative use of seam sealer and underseal and then spray whats left of the deformation panel inside with waxoyl.
