  1. We are going to see what we can do Dave as we were looking forward to getting away for a few day's :beer_yum:

  2. Okay me lovers, tomorrow I am sending off the cheque for the camp-site deposits.

It's £5 non-refundable deposit per pitch, so if you don't turn up you still owe me a fiver ;)

That's dubweiser, yorkshirecampers, Tiny-Pie, bernjb, BJM, Bertiebot, Merlincat,

Moley should I reserve you a space?

    Congi
will you pay separately as you booked direct with them?

  3. Do they have to be reserved or can i just turn up ?

  4.
  5. Ok might have to just see how it goes and not prebook then

  6. I have booked two for the off the menu option on Saturday - am I too late to change this to 4 all having the Xmas menu? If this is possible the request is as follows -

    Starters 2 salmon, 1 mushrooms, 1 haggis
    Mains 2 seabass, 2 turkey

Don't worry if we are too late - I know we missed the deadline Thanks John

  7.
  8. Only 2 weeks to go now :) Getting excited about this (hope the weather's nice!).

What do we need to bring? I was thinking of making some non alcoholic mulled wine type stuff (yes I know - 'non alcoholic' - tsk!!) - I'm guessing there will be quite a few drivers, so I thought it might be nice to have something festive tasting to drink. How many people are going? Anyone keeping a tally?!

  9. There are between 16-20 camping over and I reckon a further 20 on the sunday BBQ...so about 40 people!

Hot glug is a good idea Mrs Moosey.

Other things that have gone down well in the past:

    SOUP
    MINCE PIES
    SAUSAGE BUTTIES
    HOT APPLE JUICE
    ENDLESS CUPS OF TEA/COFFEE
CHESTNUTS ROASTING ON AN OPEN FIRE
    SCOUSE/STEW/CURRY...

anything hot really to keep us all warm! Remember they allow BBQ's in the picnic area at Tatton park, so try and bring a barbie to stand around :shiver:

Last year some people brought enough food for themselves, others brought extras and then did swapsies, others clubbed together and decided to bring certain things. Anything goes really!!

REMEMBER XMAS FANCY DRESS IS OPTIONAL ;)

    WHOOP! WHOOP!!

  10. We will bring a large vat of homemade roasted parsnip and ginger soup for anyone who wants it! May also bring some stollen or cakey bits for the sweet-toothed! :)

  11. :food: sounds delicious, Jenny

  12. I will just about manage to bring myself. It's our work Christmas Do on the Friday night, which follows 9 days of constant eating/drinking/client entertainment

  13. I'll get my mothers recipe for Christmas chocolate muck - It's not as bad as it sounds!!

I'll get the girls on to it.

  14. Maybe we can prop yorkshirecampers up with a big mound of your chocomuck ;D ;D
