I've just found it down the back of our sofa. Relax! Note: this just as credible as any of the theories in the news reports...
The news this morning is saying that it looks like someone switched off the tracker and stole the plane. What did I say the other day? Oh yes, 3 words: Ernest Stavro Blofeld.
It's truly bizarre and even more bizarre that they're allowing so many unvalidated claims come out. China releasing debris images which were not true, engines transmitting data for 5 hours after it went missing, jumping on the switch between air traffic controllers, now they're searching the Indian Ocean ! Speculation that it's landed???
i still can't believe nobody has sent a text or phone call - why nick a plane loaded with people?surely it's easier to nick a cargo plane, it's bizarre. faced with my efforts with helecopter jokes going down like a lead balloon i'm holding off on plane ones. except they found the wings the wings however said "we no the wing you look for you foun the wong wing"
Why do the transponders off switches? Or why are they not ale to remotely trun them on? Have we offered help from mfi or dfs?
Transponders are turned off when the plane is 'parked' to cut down on a flood of signals at an airport. The crew switch it on and input codes for the air traffic controllers to see on their screens.
I inadvertently watched that ^^ being filmed at universal studios many years ago although I didn't know it at the time.
