Like it or don’t like it; that’s what he does.
She’s big enough to give it out, I’m sure she can take it.

  3. Havn't read every post on this but Clarkson is absolutely spot on. The sad and I think, cruel thing is the environmentalists have obviously taken advantage of her asburgers and brain washed her into believing everything they say is true. Someone with this condition will latch onto it and go at it like a terrier with a bone. Not a well little girl.

  4. I’m not sure having a form of autism counts as being unwell. In the same way I wouldn’t say someone with Down’s syndrome is ill. She’s got a different way of interpreting the world around her to us, but she’s not sick.

I do think, and worry she might be easily used though. Especially if she’s got a crack pot mother.

The S in ASD is for spectrum, meaning there’s a wide spectrum of presentations of characteristics and effects on ‘abilities’ for want of a better word.

You might be one, have one in your family, most certainly will know one without realising, they may not realise it themselves.

And most definitely there will be some on this forum - whether they know it or not...

More often than not the clever ones.

  8. What gets me is that no one ever mentions human population expansion in the whole global warming argument.
The world population has increased tremendously even after global warming was first mentioned.
We give out heat, emit all of the gases that are said to be responsible and consume oxygen probably faster than the Amazon jungle can create it.
Not saying this is the cause but it must be part of the problem as well as cows sheep and farming methods along with industry and manufacturing.
I live in Cambridge and adverts to support Extinction Rebellion were everywhere and at the bottom it says

I'm carbon offsetting the running of our van by not having any kids. It's cost me £0 so far.

I imagine recycling old vehicles creates a carbon offset in itself. I think VW should cite this in their upcoming German court case. We have been recycling old air cooled for years, so our emissions faux pau has already been carbon offset by our well built old vans!

I can’t see them going for it myself

I can't understand why there isn't more being made about that.
They knowingly pumped out more pollution trying to con everyone but it's ok cos we have a fix for it :gnome:

They will soon have to face the costliest court case in German history. They are preparing for it now.

Some theorists may speculate the Brits still have a big interest in VW. Not saying I believe that, but have heard rumours over the years.

  15. Well done Green peace. Tlb are still on about this nigh on a week in. Global companies and governments will pay big bucks to press relation opos who are as good as you lot.
Choose the correct spokesperson to polarise opinion and stage correctly then let the genie out the bottle.

  16. i read something year ago that you'd have to have a vehicle for 90 years to offset the production - most of us are half way there!

What about the offset against buying new when you keep an old one. Does that reduce it further?

I agree. I knew what you were saying, but as much as I don’t know about it still draws me into talking about it. I suppose it’s all drawing in knowledge?
