Is this the enamel you use? Just found two cans of it in the garage that Avenue sent me by mistake.

I’m sure I’ve used it in the past though and can’t remember any complaints

 

Lovely stuff.

 

Used to paint my Hillman imp with it every year to make it look pretty/ hide rust.
Just as good as Rustoleum.

Just been rebuilding an Imp engine, someone left water in the sump after the head gasket went.

 

Aren’t they fire pump engines?

 

Yes also used for the Godiva fire pumps.

 

I believe it's the Coventry Climax to be precise.
I used to rally a Singer Chamois, which was a fastback variant of the Imp, such a good little car.

 

The head gasket was always blowing on mine.

 

I did my roof in it - just as good as Rustoleum.
