Firstly thanks to all who organised the event and although he won't read this Eddie for the venue and being a top top fella.
Friday noon i met Moley76 and Harryankle at Dordon in Tamworth to convoy in (the long way - thanks Dan)..
We eventually got there to find Dubious and Dubster setting up and we got sorted and set up then got the fire sorted and waited for others, Tuesday wildchild arrived as did a few others but i forget in what order these included BJM, Green westy nzkidreturned bertiebot plus a few more i forget...sorry! anyway we had a few beers chatted about what we would do tomorrow, sent out for chinese food and generally chilled out, zed turned up late into the night and entertained in his van for a while.... anyway i went to bed about midnight as i had to be up early for the grand prix quali, here are my pictures of Friday - i took none at all on saturday or sunday as i cracked on fixing mine and helping others, i teamed up with Green westy (james) and we helped each other as we had similar jobs to do, - thanks to zed for the pointers with camber settings and ball joint removal tips! i helped a few even less knowledgeable than me and had a real good day but by 6pm i had done enough, i got cleaned up and sat in my bus all night and went to bed at 10pm! up early sunday and me and Dubster watched the grand prix then he showed/helped me to set my timing and change the points, caught up with loads of peeps off here and had a great weekend, the van is running sweet as a nut and thanks to Stu (Dubster) for the timing/points settings - the timing was well out and i think we have cured the hot running and lumpy tickover, the flat spot i never knew i had (if that makes sense) has gone - the pick up on the van is brilliant and the drive home was like a different van! as said it was great to meet friends old and new and sorry if i haven't namechecked you all - although big up to rob yip for the 3 man bulb change! looking forward to the next one, these kind of shows are great no camper tat to buy and great people to share good times with, parts and tools happily shared and help and advice a plenty, looking forward to the next one, anyway i'm rambling now so piccys! and thanks again to all. that's it for my pictures i was too busy saturday and too tired saturday night, last picture is driving home sunday after the repairs, the only time i've seen the worry gauge this low is when the ignition is off and it's going down! it now runs this low! wicked - cheers stu!

cheers dan! yes it's amazing how much difference the timing being set has changed the engine, i honestly am shocked how bad it was and i had not known any difference so thought it was normal, it was just so smooth on the way home.
