So when does Ed need to know which date we're having in April? Time for a poll? Then let it go quiet and ramp it up in Feb/March? What do you think?

hi all hope all is well 8)
this is darrens brv im writing to ask if there will be any of you that are going to the next techenders that have the know on taking engines out and replacing crankshaft oil
seals and oil cooler seals? cus my bros need replacing on his t2 1600 so i wanted to organise it as a suprise if sum of you could help make this suprise possible please get intouch ?

 

Engines out has been done many times before so if the usual suspects are there yes it can be done.

 

i will be willing to muk in and help who ever is guna be offering to help do it also i
will bring what tools i have and a 2 ton trolly jack but may not have the tools that may be needed like special tools or clamps witch i dont have so hopefully some will be able to bring what special tools are needed or clamps or any other things that will be needed to do the job? i would really love to be able to sort this for my bro cus he has helped me so much in the past and this would be a nice way to say thanks dont you all think? O0

 

what i think is this, put a request of what you need to do up in mech and tech so more people see it and you know what is needed, as long as you and your brother have the willingness to do the job hands on we will not leave you in the lurch, if you get there fri night/early saturday and the weather is kind and a person of experience is there you'll get it done, if nobody is there who is able to instruct you will have the option oin wether to start the job or not.

Yes when someone is wanting to remove engine it is best out on firday so Saturday is repair and put back.

 

scote got his out and back last saturday one, but we were blessed with nice weather and he laid off the pop and had an early night, deffo get there friday and at least start to remove bits and bobs to save time but as i say we have sunday too at a push, me and zed didn't leave until late sunday - mind you nobody had jobs to do - we just didnt wanna go home lol
