Home safe and sound. Chuffed we made it without any issues . Had a chilled out few days and nice to see faces to names .
I had a spannerr and socket out and did about an hours work on the washer bottle then sun stopped play .good company good food good location thank you all for your welcome and hospitality

 

You forgot good whisky as well

 

No spannering then eh? It's not the first time. Someone up for something on the face of it a bit daft always helps. Like Vdub bruvs el cheapo piston ring fix.

 

Minimal spannering @vanorak in charge of duties, I believe jobs done/wanted doing hampered by lack of parts.

 

Are you implying that vanorak was there in his bus?

 

Just got home too. Made a Minot detour to meet up with parents and wife and kids. Some right idiots on the road today. Bus ran like a beauty again, other than the wayward steering. About to have pulled pork, coleslaw and Mac and cheese for tea!!!!!

 

Next time I will bring a bottle , or two

Thanks for organising it @rickyrooo1 and thanks for the help people offered, nor least of which was @Mrs Moosey 's cheese!

My bus ran beautifully, even through the rain, right until I stopped at my Mum's on the way home and the starter button didn't work, I fixed it by shorting it (batteries were brilliant thanks to the isolator switch!) but I know what I'm going to be working on before next weekend!

 

Might be worth getting rid of the button altogether and replacing the ignition switch on the steering column.??

 

Its a scurrilous rumour!
