2) @MorkC68 - relaxing for the weekend
3) @scrooge95 - not a clue, but I'm bound to think of something. Front mudflaps maybe?

4B) @Dicky and Mrs Columbo. Plane spotting!

7) @Fruitcake hoping the rebuilt engine gets him home (assuming it got him there in the first place!
8) @lowie & Tina - relaxing for the weekend
9) @Norris & Mrs Norris + a friend who is desperate to go camping. We'll be the ones in tents
10) @paulcalf - fitting a buttys bits throttle kit, unless I decide the money is better going towards a 123 distributor? I'm still on old school points at the mo.
11) @SkutterBob - advising that @paulcalf could fit an Accuspark and it will do just as good as a 123 distributor at only £40 on eBay
12) @pkrboo - fitting a propex amd thermostat
13) @Dub and Dubber maybe, if there's a gearbox, buddy box, or some other cardboard boxcontaining parts to deliver ....... in a very NON-VW vehicle
14) @davidoft - trying out my syncro conversion ( hopefully)
15) @Chrisd - finding out about solar/split chargers and options for leisure battery charging...and yes anniversary shuffle has been arranged and I can come
16) @Spacecowboyuk redoing any work I screwed up on whilst performing an engine refresh

 

not on purpose, luckily my fabulousness is in great demand , but man cannot live on biscuits alone

Just wondering if anyone is taking their children? My wife works shifts, typically she’s working that weekend... so I’d like to attend but I’d have my 4 year old in tow..

 

There’s usually some. I have a 12yo & 8yo who I normally bring but didn’t last time for obvious reasons. I’m not sure if I’ll bring them or not tbh. I’ll call it before we go.

 

Quite a few take their young people. Over the years lots of folks children get to know each other and look forward to the event just as much as us old uns.
Some of us grumpy old farts retreat to our adults only area centre field....
It's just a bit of fun...

Indeed I did ... All depends on whether anything I'm selling needs delivering, and a couple of other things have come up, so thought it would be better to assume I'm not going until something "concrete" happens
