Bloody distribution I.T for the co-op depots, basically if they or the systems screw up overnight I am called.
Well had an eventful 1st camp. got a out of hours call at 6am and had to end up going home as couldn't log on as no 3/4g and the sites wifi was useless. Depot at a stand still for over an hour, can't wait for Monday morning On a happier note the van was ace and bed well comfy. found a solar panel that fits, just need to work out how to get the wires into the bonnet where the batterys are. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/141821295649
I love classic vehicles and have the mgb and the tintop bay. Its a pleasure to own them and like owning any classic, they have their foibles, but that adds to the hobby and the fun. Modern vehicles are not classics and they are functional but lack all sense of history and quaintness. I was out with the mgb this morning and it was pure pleasure, got passed by the usual Porsche brigade, ok they are fast and noisy but nowhere near the fun of my graceful classic. Saw no Bays, but a few T5's heading for the coast and one white one with matching caravan.
@pkrboo ,@1973daisey ,@theBusmonkey , if i drive down is there any chance one of you could give us a hand fitting it, i would reward you With my great company... and other things. I go away on 18th July.
Get an mppt controller not a pwm one to make the most of the sun. Where is the leisure battery in yours? Not much room under the bonnet for starter and leisure. Might be under drivers seat. Could possibly fit it for you depending on when? Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
I could take a day off when ever its convenient with you, cheers for the offer so don't buy the kit, buy it all separately then. I will go and look for the battery.
I agree, it's nowhere near as fun as driving the bay, but i got to go camping again For a short while
No probs Dave, campsite here at the marina in Shardlow so easily doable....name the date & we'll sort it if @pkrboo Matt can't fit it in with regards to PTK commitments
