What they're expecting: £25k What its really worth*: £9k *imho. Obviously its worth what someone will pay for it.
It may be, to us on here a bit ott & I agree it is based on what Ive seen in the images and the more eagle eyed have noted in this thread. But, if a newcomer to the VW world reads the add and see's the bus through rose tinted glasses and desperation to get away on that "summer holiday" then they may stump up the cash and buy as seen, little knowing how much needs doing to finish the so called restoration. In comparison, G'Day Kombi's have a westy for sale at £39,995.00 http://www.gdaykombis.co.uk/vw-vans...0-lhd-westfalia-wanderer-as-new-pound-39-995/ It does look nice but for that sort of cash?
All new Bay buyers have rose-tinted glasses. Show 'em a sufboard and a bus, and they're in Only later do they realise that welding skills are necessary.
One of the receipts is quite amusing. "Take a look into running issues, no faults found" Next on the list "Take van to MOT. Break down on the way" Ha ha ha should have spent more time on point 1
Things are "hotting up" folks! I wonder who the newest TLB member will be, and how many TLB shoulders will be called on ... Not as many as for me I hope!
And the winner is ..... @mikedjames ... Since the reserve was lowered, and even the TLB encyclopedia cannot be expected to be psychic.
