Swearing

So the time of year comes round when we need to remind you guys of the policy of swearing in Tlb. Basically it's don't!
It's been creeping in a lot lately and people have been bypassing the filters and to be honest the mod team and I have better things to do than go around deleting swear words.
However the f and c words will not be tolerated in any form (started out or not) and warnings will be issued when they are spotted. 3 warnings and you get yourself a week off!

 

Just to clarify, Am I still OK telling you to ***** off as long as I let the filters do their stuff like this?

the idea is to remove the use of two words in particular, even the implied use!

 

The trouble is I will just end up having to broaden the swear filter again so you can't write Scunthorpe any more, conversation will die!

 

How about replace them with colours you purple yellower.

 

Or foods - there was nothing wrong with 'marmite'

Is this because of the droves of children that come on here, the ones that have never read or heard a swear word in their lives?

I totally agree it should be kept to a minimum, but zero?
