It is a shame the van was stolen. But as was said before, it was accessible and wasnt overlooked. The thieves must have noticed that and as the recovery man said, they could just tow it away. I am lucky as my van is parked on my driveway where myself and neighbours can see it. In front of the van is my alarmed polo. Its about making it a bit more difficult to steal the van. Also when I park the van, I disable the battery and switch off the fuel under the van. It all helps. At the end of the day, our vans are only metal and can be replaced, so insurance will cover the loss.
Should be mate. Ball is in their court at the moment..Not heard anything back from police. Don't expect to tbh. Of course, we now keep seeing lots and lots of lovely T5s wherever we go. Think we'll probably be looking at sourcing a vehicle n get same firm to do pop top and interior. That's all for the new year now though I expect.
oh i'm sure the police don't look anymore, to be fair if it's been a week now we both know it's been stripped..... still fingers crossed you can choose a better one.
thanks, yep it's nice that 'cos it isn't a rare one like my bay i don't feel bad about doing what suits.
Well it's been found. What's left of it that is. Engine gone. Interior all gone, even the dash. Wheels gone. Doors too. Twits. My brother was saying they'll get what's coming to them, and I wish it were true.
oh dear. Not sure whether that's a good thing or a bad thing tbh! At least there shouldn't be any arguments with the insurance!
Marmite that's not good, I sure hope the insurance sorts things out for you & you end up better off. Not that its any consolation. Good luck mate.
