Steering setup

  1. Drag link (from memory) has a lock nut. You have to loosen lock nut, pop the joint, screw/unscrew it a bit, then lock it and put the joint back in. A right pain.

    I thought it was a lock nut but couldn't remember i didn't want to swing on it to much incase i broke it.

    Zed Gradually getting grumpier

    20 + 10mm approx an inch. Your new beam is an inch wider, no two ways about it.

    All very confusing, I cant imagine how the pointy lock screws fitted into the depression in the leaves as you say they do.

    New beam
    The old beam had cups on but the seals were still against the plate same as the new beam also the 4" narrowed Arb bolted straight on and that came off the old one.[​IMG][​IMG]

    Steering all sorted
    Tie rods approximately the sameish lengths.
