space saver 75 baywindow devon conversion ~ best option?

  1. Hello,

    everyone been restoring 75 bay with jude for 2 and half years now.

    got full westfalia interior full width cool air bed to go in but dont really want spare wheel in bed area is there a space saver option i can run?

    and best place to put spare wheel any ideas....

  2. You can chuck it under the bus when your camped up . Or on roof rack ,or on front or back . Loads of choices I think birdie put a space saver next to his passenger seat , but ............. have a look in search you might find few options . Good luck enjoy ya ride :thumbsup:

  3. I have a Westy Berlin interior and the spare fits in the narrow cupboard behind the drivers seat (LHD), is that the setup you have?
     
  4. Any space saver with correct pcd will fit but probably won’t be load rated ... a lot of new cars don’t carry a spare

  5. think been overthinking it just gonna throw it in bottom cupboard behind drivers seat mines right hand drive with cooker behind drivers seat cheers izzy

  6. well tried wacking standard spare wheel in westfalia cupboard cooker didnt go so well lol still sticking out wont go in dont no much bout all the space saver options anyone got any ides lol
     
  7. You need a commercial rated so why not go for roof rack or front mount , will give you the space in the bus then .
