Someone please explain to me why you would vote Tory.

  1. Labour were in government for a number of years in charge of bank regulation before the banking collapse. The Tories were voted in to tidy the mess up just as all the other governments around the world have had to do. Even Labour would have had to save money somewhere. As a letter they left by Labour to the Tory in the treasury said "There's nothing left' (or words to that effect)
Torys blame Labour and Labour blame Torys. That's politics.
    Coffee all around I feel.

Tony Blair gave a speech this afternoon, in support of the Labour Party.

He ended it the way Blair always ends his speeches, by saying, "Thank you for listening. That'll be £200,000."

  3. If labour got in they would have increased tax's ! then gave the tax money to the people of this country who can't be bothered to work !! That's my opinion

and that is exactly the opinion the ruling elite want you to have.

  7. Hindsight is a wonderful thing - foresight is impossible- even mystic meg could'nt have foreseen the banking crash then tranferred economic power to the banks!

  8. ...and that's why folk voted Tory.
Not I, I drew a spluffing cock, a rather good one, on my ballot paper.

  9. Well "Have i got news for you" was struggling to keep up with the resignations

  10. could someone please explain to me why anybody would vote Labour?
Just look at how they cost us billions and then shoved the blame on the banks that they de-regulated by removing the power from the bank of england.
And we all remember how much better the NHS was under B.rown and Blair. How short the waiting lists were, or were they?
There haven't been as many strikes in the last 5 years either.
How about the plan to end austerity by borrowing more money to get us out of debt? isn't that like me going to wonga.com to pay off my credit card?

No one likes cuts but if the coffers are empty then income needs to exceed outgoings to pay off debt.

as an aside, why would nearly all of scotland vote snp when they voted to stay in the uk just last year?

    funny old country isn't it?

A mod then sees this, then checks if the person in the wrong is a sponsor or not. If your a sponsor your fine. If not it's a warning and threats of being banned.
