Snow watch 26 Feb 2018

Is that Geordie?

 

I’m sat in my car waiting for my next fare to come out and it’s freezing, when will this heater blow out hot air

 

Well the promised snow in Hampshire has arrived only a thin layer at the moment, supposed to going up north this weekend (Huddersfield) looks like we'll be staying home rather than risking the roads tomorrow.

 

Bit of an anticlimax here nothing to report after all the hype....

 

No,,, that’s not Geord, I’ve met Geord and he’s got completely different coloured hair to that chap.

Ozziedog,,,,,,,, don’t know too many blondies on this forum ?

 

We just got the red weather warning from Carol, she said I’ve been upgraded from a yellow warning to a red one as of half past eight. This is to include Devon, Somerset, and all of South Wales. Carol Kirkwood was very good about it and not at all pushy but we gotta have a red one .

It's not as bad as they say
Only one truck stuck on the A616 at the minute, just looked again and another one turned up behind it

 

Blizzard in Sheerness the sunny isle at the moment.

 

That bloody Ozzy gets everywhere

 

Tunbridge Wells, after a lot of snow on Tuesday, dry and sunny yesterday so went to the local corner shop, today its light snowing.

Constant feeding of the birds, Fieldfares and Redwings and Black headed gulls have appeared to add to the local garden birds.

 

My son decided to walk the 4 miles to work this morning, so me and the dog joined him for the first mile, good fun, very windy and some nice drifts

I’m going to give it another half hour then get the mtb out to go the 6 miles to my workshop , all off road on the old railway

 

Ozziedog,,,,,it’d be rude not too,

 

Perfect excuse to buy a Fat Bike.

Weather report in south Manchester it’s bad! Got the stove cracked-up in the old workshop. Be careful out there everyone!
